This fully synthetic, high-performance engine oil is designed to increase fuel efficiency. It is specially formulated for newer diesel engines, particularly those incorporating PSA Group (Peugeot and Citroën) SCR technology. It meets PSA B71 2312 standards and EURO 4, 5, and 6 emissions regulations. This oil is also suitable for most Peugeot and Citroën petrol engines and some diesel engines with DPF that require PSA B71 2312 approval. Consult your vehicle’s owner’s manual before use.

Applications

  • Peugeot Citroën has created the B71 2312 standard for oils that can withstand extreme temperatures and work with the latest emissions systems. This standard applies to all their               diesel vehicles that use SCR technology, which treats harmful NOx emissions with AdBlue.
  • The B71 2312 standard also applies to most of their gasoline engines and some diesel engines with DPF.
  • The low levels of sulfated ash, phosphorus, and sulfur in the oil protect and extend the life of modern emissions systems such as SCR and DPF.
  • Its fully synthetic base provides excellent heat resistance, prevents engine deposits, keeps it clean, and reduces wear.
  • The oil maintains its protective properties even under harsh conditions. It has low volatility to minimize oil consumption, resists oxidation, and allows for longer intervals between oil          changes, as recommended by PSA.
  • This oil exceeds the most demanding performance standards. Compared to the already stringent B71 2290 standard, B71 2312 requires oils to withstand even more heat and           oxidation, while still being compatible with emission systems. It also improves cold flow to reduce friction and enhance fuel economy, especially during cold starts. The result is faster oil circulation, quicker engine warm-up, and reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
